Arawang Horse Holding Paddocks comprise two areas off Hake St in Kambah. There are facilities at both sites. Arawang is on the National Bicentennial Trail and has yards, washbay and designated riding area. Arawang is approximately 70 hectares divided into 5 paddocks. Arawang is proximate to the equestrian centres on the Cotter Rd.

The Cook Horse Holding Paddocks are located off Mackellar Crescent in Cook. Cook covers approximately 40 hectares divided into 4 paddocks. Cook has yards, washbay and designated riding area. The paddocks are separated by tree lanes providing shade and easy access to each paddock.

The North Curtin Horse Holding Paddocks are located off McCulloch St in Curtin. The complex comprises 30 hectares divided into 5 paddocks and is proximate to Forest Park Riding School and Equestrian Park. Nth Curtin has holding yards, washbay and a designated riding area.

Duntroon
via Adison Road, off Fairburn Avenue, Duntroon
The Duntroon Horse Holding Paddocks are on Addison Rd off Fairburn Avenue adjacent to the Duntroon sporting fields. The Duntroon Paddocks also back onto the Mt Ainslie and Mt Majura Nature Reserves. Duntroon is approximately 50 hectares and has holding yards, washbay and a designated riding area. Duntroon is divided into 5 paddocks and has extensive tree plantations.

Hackett
Antill Street, Hackett
The Hackett Horse Holding Paddock complex is located in the suburb of Hackett off Antill St. The complex borders the Mt Ainslie Nature Reserve and provides excellent riding. Hackett comprises 35ha. There are holding yards, a wash bay and a designated riding area at Hackett. Hackett is open to a very limited number of horses.

Hall
Gibbs Street, Hall
The Hall Horse Holding Paddocks are located off Gibbs St in Hall. Hall is divided into 4 paddocks over almost 50 hectares. Hall offers a peaceful Agistment environment with only a small number of horses. The grazing is excellent and facilities include holding yards and a wash bay. The Hall Showgrounds are only a short ride through the quiet village streets.

The Hume Horse Holding Paddocks are located off Tralee St in Hume. Hume is almost 40 hectares divided into 3 paddocks. There are 2 sets of holding yards, washbays, a designated riding area and arena.

The Illoura Horse Holding Paddocks are located off Heysen St in Lyons. Illoura is approximately 80 hectares divided into 7 paddocks. Illoura has holding yards, washbay and a designated riding area with sand arena.

Kaleen
Ellenborough Street, Kaleen
The Kaleen Horse Holding Paddocks run across two complexes off Ellenborough St in Kaleen known as North and South Kaleen. North Kaleen is located on the northern side of the Gungahlin Drive Extension and South Kaleen is on the southern side of the GDE off Ellenborough St. The entire area is roughly 60 hectares divided into 9 paddocks. Both complexes have yards, washbays and riding areas.
The herd at Kaleen grazes one complex for a period of time before moving across Ellenborough St to the other complex.

Macarthur Park/Gilmore
Gilmore – Isabella Drive / Macarthur Park – via Ebsworth Close, Macarthur
The Gilmore/Macarthur Park Horse Holding Paddocks are located on either side of Isabella Drive in Gilmore and Macarthur. The entrance to Gilmore is the next driveway after the Rose Cottage Inn entry and shares access with ACTEWAGL Macarthur Park is located off Ebsworth Close in Macarthur Park. Gilmore and Macarthur Park comprise 80 hectares divided into 9 paddocks. One herd utilises both complexes and each complex is grazed for a period of time before relocating to the other complex.
Macarthur Park has holding yards, washbay and a designated riding area with arena. Gilmore has holding yards, washbay and a designated riding area.

Mount Neighbour

Parkwood

The Parkwood Horse Holding Paddocks are located on Parkwood Rd Belconnen (behind West Macgregor). Parkwood is approximately 70 hectares divided into 9 paddocks. Parkwood has holding yards, washbay and a riding area with sand arena. There are two herds at Parkwood as it is such a large land area. Parkwood offers excellent grazing.
Parkwood is also located on the National Bicentennial Trail for riding out.

The Yarralumla Horse Holding Paddocks are located off Cotter Rd and are next door to the Forest Park Riding School and Equestrian Park. Yarralumla has yards, washbay and designated riding area with sand arena. Yarralumla comprises 40 hectares divided into 8 paddocks. Two paddocks are on the other side of the Parkway and there is a separate set of yards for use when these paddocks are being grazed.
